Must Have Survival Tools

Knives and Tools for Warfare & Survival

Have a gear bag that doesn't quite have everything you need? Do you have the right combat knife that is actually made for combat? How about the right tools for cutting wires, digging trenches, butchering wild game or wood working?

Now for me to just put together some cheap list of junk products is not what I do. I'm a firm believer in providing high quality items that will actually stand up to the abuse of outdoors men. Knives that actually can stand up to hard work and extreme conditions. Tools that can cut, snip and bend metal without breaking or tweaking. Trenching tools that can actually trench. Butchering equipment that won't leave you busting your ass trying to quarter a big buck.

I full stand behind these next few items. Not because they look cool, but because I own them and use them. My gear bag is stuffed with everything you could imagine, from hunting to the "just in case you never know" situations that might never happen. The point is, I think if you don't have these, you should.

Combat Knives: One of the hardest choices to make is when you go looking for a combat ready knife.

A good military knife should be able to stand up to a variety of environments, be tough as hell and be worth every single penny you spend on it.

I use SOG knives for only one reason. They are made to Military Specs. They were torture tested over and over, and if you ever held one in your hands. You'd know exactly what I'm talking about.

By far the best military knife around.

Now as far as butchering wild game goes, no other butchering kit comes close.

I bought this butchering kit a few years ago and have never had a problem gutting, skinning and butchering deer or bear with this system.

Flawless and easy to maintain edges, with good grips and solid construction. This butchers anything. I used mine about 20times over the years and love it. The deer don't, but my freezer sure does.

If you ever needed to dig outdoors miles away from your tool shed, you know how important it can be to have a digging tool.

Something light and small to dig with that you carry around while hunting or camping can be a life saver. You can dig a fire pit or if your like me and need to go #2 deep in the woods, you can quickly dig down deep and deposit your scent giving gift.

When your hunting or camping, having a digging tool is always a good idea. I use this SOG Trench tool every year and it's solid enough to get the job done. Won't bend or break the first time you dig with it. Promise!

This trenching tool folds up compactly and will store in the smallest space in your backpack or gear bag. It's light enough to forget that you have it.

One outdoor hand tool that will come in real handy.
Having owned this tool for over 2 years, I can tell you how handy it is. Cut wire, pull needles, and do anything a good pair of pliers can do with the added benefit of additional items.
